This CD hasn't left my player since I bought it.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss- "Raising Sand"
It sounds like it would be a strange combination, but their voices blend really well together. It's gotten really good reviews, although some people say it's not uptempo enough for them. I can't argue that it's very laid back, but it creates a very cool mood, in my opinion.
Here's a link to where you can listen to streaming versions of the songs.
I especially like "Killing the Blues," "Polly Come Home," and "Please Read the Letter."

It sold over 100,000 copies last week, so good on them. _________________ "Between the velvet lies, There's a truth that's hard as steel. The vision never dies, Life's a never ending wheel" - RJD (RIP) |
