This is a post by Rich Ward regarding "Open Season" and the mistaken interpretations of its meaning that some people have expressed. This was originally on page 3 of another thread but I thought it needed more exposure. So here you go:

1)The Open Season video is not an animated feature where we are using propaganda to make extreme Islam look bad.

2)The images were not staged for dramatic purposes.

3)We used these images because they tell a story that most of us pass off as something that will work it's way out and then go back to our football games and Playstations.

Call me me an alarmist, but this is not about Iraq or the so called "War On Terrorism", this is about a worldwide movement that is compelled by spiritual teachings to convert us or kill us. It's not about Israel or America, if it was then why is this virus present in Algeria, Sudan, Somalia, Indonesia, the former Soviet Union, the Philippines, India, France, Spain and 1.5 million dead in Darfur. But I thought this whole thing was about Israel and America. Then why are Buddhist and Hindu temples set on fire and the followers of these peaceful religions attacked?

Right now, a civil war being waged within Islam. Take a look at what is taking place in Lebanon and in Iraq. You investigate it, it's all there for those who don't live with their heads in the sand to see.

We can argue about percentages of peaceful Muslims vs. non-peaceful Muslims, but that will get us no further than trying to determine how many Germans actually supported Hitler during the late 1930's. The threat is growing and understanding why Hitler wanted to destroy the Jewish people, did not stop it from happening. So how will understanding the leaders of Iran, who have publically called for the destruction of Isreal and the Jewish people, keep them from following through with what they believe they are compelled to do by God.

Why is it a news story for MONTHS when a Catholic Priest molests a child. NO ONE is afraid of offending Catholics by suggesting that the Catholic church was coordinating an effort to protect these morally deviant Priest. But God forbid we discuss the fact that NOT ALL Muslims are terrorists, but that ALMOST ALL terrorists ARE Muslim. Under Sharia law (look it up), women are stoned to death for being in a relationship with a Christian or for leaving the Islamic faith. If a woman is raped, under Sharia law she has to produce have FOUR witnesses to the rape that will testify on her behalf or no charges can be made. Under Sharia law, homosexuals are stoned to death. Say it out LOUD! Under Sharia law, HOMOSEXUALS ARE STONED TO DEATH! Gotta love that religion of tolerance and peace!

This video is NOT attacking Islam. This video is NOT lumping all followers of Islam in with the terrorists. No one in the Stuck Mojo organization is a racist or a bigot, but I refuse to ignore these events so as to keep from offending anyone.

I would say the fact that Lord Nelson is a black dude is enough to show that Rich and company are not racists. Man, why are people so stupid If muslims don't want to be picked on then stop chopping peoples heads off and if they do want to be seen as a religion of peace, then how come not one Muslim leader will ever come forward and denounce a single act of terrorism that they have caused? I am sick of how everyone and everything has to fit into one neat little box and no one can even speak their mind when it comes to the muslim culture. It pisses me off that no one can say a single bad word about even the radicals. We even have to be PC with assholes that want to kill us. I don't know, I just don't get it

Excuse me but you need to inform yourself more, there have been many muslim leaders that have condemned the atrocities, the muslim council and the muslim council of the United Kingdom have repeatedly denounced the terrorists for the horrendous acts that they commited. Do not jump to mis informed conclusions.

Mojo are not racists and I upholod this to everyone I know. You can be as pissed as you like about the extremists, that does not bother me, what bothers me is people accusing all muslims of believing the same things about the west, which is what you have just expressed plus the fact you have expressed statements as truths when they are far from that.

Hey Joz, I think this was the one place that might have come across as being a generalization, even if you did just mean the radicals that you mentioned later. I don't think you guys are on different sides, just misinterpretting what the other is saying.

I personally know I'm not well informed, and until I am, I don't want to say any more than I know I can trust. I do find it all rather interesting though.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erikat also said: "We condemn with the strongest possible terms these explosions, and convey our sincere condolences to the British people and government."

That is a joke. Hamas are the same people lobbing rockets and bombs in residential areas of Isreal, not caring if they kill innocent women and children that are Jewish OR Palestinian.

Jamal Miftah is a Muslim residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is an immigrant from Pakistan. He is also a member of the Islamic Center of Tulsa Mosque. On October 29th he wrote an article for the op-ed page of the Tulsa World. Here is one quote: "Because of lack of knowledge of Islam, Muslim youth are misguided into believing by the so-called champions of the cause of Islam that the current spate of killings and barbarism, which has no equal in the recent civilized history, is jihad in the name of Islam."

This man was promptly kicked out of his mosque and received death threats from his fellow worshipers. Nice.

Because of the limitations on the comments that can be posted on Youtube, I posted points 1 and 2 and linked to this thread as the original source. People who want to take what Rich and company are saying in this song as a condemnation of all muslims are fools. Anyone with half a brain can see it for what it is.

It is now almost 45 minutes later and my comment has not been posted. I will be keeping track as to how long Youtube takes to post my comment and if it is not posted by this time tomorrow I will be sending a copy of this thread, a link to the video, and a description of the censorship we are facing to multiple news outlets who are more reputable than any like CBS, NBC, ABC, and others who espouse such a liberal slant in their news reporting.
